I’m a meat eater (carnivore) and eat other small and medium sized mammals like deer, wild boar and cattle.

We’re found primarily in India but there are smaller groups in Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal.

Around 2,000 left in the wild.
Biggest threat
The poaching of tigers for our skins and for use in traditional Asian medicines, and poaching of our prey. Habitat loss is also forcing us into smaller and smaller areas.
